When I'm not taking photographs I'm likely to be skiing. I combine both activities if I can. This was a Snow Cross competition at Glenshee, Scotland in March 2014. I captured this snowbaord competitor in the air over the crest of the first jump a few yards from the start line. This was a particularly steep jump which if taken too fast led to too much air and a hard, flat landing. This competitor got it spot on - just a little air and landed softly on the downslope.
